ASPI Manager (which version?)

Hi there...
I'm using the ASPI For All v4.60.
I know that there is also the 4.71 version.
But i'm still confused about this version.
Please let me know if this is a free version
like the ASPI For All is, or if it's for use
together with an adaptec card. Please inform me
about that. If you also have something better to
sentence me, it's wellcome. Thank you all.

I uploaded there a modified ASPI 4.71.1, but only for Windows XP.

Original ASPI by Adaptec is not limited to Adaptec-controllers anymore, but setup is somehow buggy, mine is just an updated force-aspi offering latest Aspi 4.71.1

Adaptec Aspi drivers are free from version newer than 4.60, I mean 4.70 and 4.71. Those newer version supposed to fix some bugs present in the 4.60 version specially under windows xp. But if you are using version 4.60 under windows xp and everything is ok, don't touch anything. As it's said in the forum, dont fix that is not broken. If you are expermenting problems, such your recorder or your cdrom is not detected by windows or by a burning program yes, updating aspi would be a solution.
