Area-51m Extreme laptop with 4x dvd drive

3,735.00 bucks? Blow me down...
I bought an Acer TravelMate 291LMi (Centrino 1.4G, 60G Seagate HD, 512 RAM, Intel 8255 GPU, Toshiba SD-R6112 2X/16X DVD-R/CD-R burner, 15.1" XG display, 3X USB2, 1X 1394, 10/100 ethernet+wireless+v90 modem) for 1,380 euros just one week ago... All major components on that one (RAM, DVDR, CPU, LAN+modem) are upgradable in a couple of minutes by anyone...
I could buy three of them for the above price.

The price could be trimmed a little by not opting for the fancy case.

ALIENWARE - this is your custom, performance PC ... you can't compare a Ferrari to a Mini - though I'd settle for insane performance without the looks at a much lower price - and performance parts ARE heading towards more mainstream systems.

The is the kind of laptop, for the guys who would be running a Desktop graphics card that costs more than an average user's entire PC (but in a year or two, will still be relegated to the bargain bin).
