Apex dvd 1100w question

why on some svcds does it say CDDA after it loads? you can not watch the disc if it does this. i also have an apex 1000 and it works with every disc you throw at it. the apex 1100 is a silver player and sold at wal mart. im on my 3rd one since june 28, 2002. not a very good plaer IMO. but back to my question why does it say cdda and is there anyway to fix it?.......i hope there is.

Maybe this site can help you with a firmware upgrade, though the model 1100 not specifically listed. Send an email to Darren as he may still be able to help.

got the upgrade ....thanks for the tip still wont play some svcds though :-(
