AOpen CDRW 3248 - Medium Speed Error - Help!

I got an AOpen CDRW 3248 somewhere at the begining of the year. I am often facing this stupid Medium Speed Error.

Burning
======
I will face this problem when i am using CDRW. All my CDRW discs will face this problem when I tried burn data on my CDRW discs, when it reach 8%, it will stop and nothing get burn. MEDIUM SPEED ERROR!!!

Erasing
======
I have some CDRW disc, i tried using AOpen 3248 via Nero Burn to erase the data in it. I will face MEDIUM SPEED ERROR, i tried changing the speed from 4X to 2X, i cant get my CDRW erase .... Help!! I even used the disc recommended by AOpen (AOpen CDRW), i still face this problem. (MEDIUM SPEED ERROR)

CDRW discs i am using are
COMPRO CDRW - 650M 2X - 4X
AOpen CDRW - 700M 4X - 12X
Verbatim CDRW - 650M 2X - 4X

Software
Nero Burn Version 5.5.9.9

I had a AOpen 24x burner... and i always had that same problem :(

i updated my firmware and everything was good afterthat :)

if not....ditch that cd-rw and get a lite-on or something ;)

AOpen sucks

I tried upgrade the FIRMWARE .... lastest. It still wont work.
I downgraded it. It work on some other CDRW ... damn it ...

Wats the damn point of getting the FIRMWARE upgrade when you will face more problem ????
