Anyone using DVD Magic (Dvd Ripper)?

Im new to this. I bought a program called DVD Ripper. It installs a DVD to CD-R Disc program called DVD Magic. I follow all the directions and still the copied DVD will not play in any Dvd player. It says Loading and does nothing. Anyone using this program now that can give me a few pointers on how to make them work?

I wont even think about DVD Magic <> its obviously another conware proggy.
U cannot burn a DVD to CDR without changing its format usually to VCD or SVCD to play on Standalone players
