anyone tried region patch for 104

has anyone been succesful in patching their pioneer 104 so as it becomes multi region,if so could you tell me where to get the firmware please.

Patched mine the first day i got it and not had any probs. I got the firmware from here h**p://kickme.to/dvd105s

tried that patch,keeps coming up no drive found when i try to patch it.any ideas
i tried moving the dvd drive to different to different settings but no joy.i am running xp pro.

Using xp pro myself, you need to put the firmware into the same folder as dos prog you are running to update, don't goto dos to do this as the prog works fine on winxp o/s.
Goto dvd harware section for tech answers. I used this patch ok though no probs. If you are still having a drama pm me with your email add and i will write a small prog and send it to you to make it easy.
