Sorry, I should have...

http://www.mp3br.com/

It's a program that you can use to create an ISO image of your MP3's before you burn a disc. It lets you arrange files by moving them up and down in the list.
You know how nero will list all the files alphabetically and you can't arrange them. This fixes it.

Just wondering if there are others like it.

What order do Programs like CD Manipulator, Burnatonce, and Demosten's CDRtools frontend use when they burn?

Order of placement? or forced alphanumeric, or other?

sorry dude, i dont know a similar program;

but i you like to stay with Nero:

easy solution would be renaming like:
01_bumbum.mp3
02_tamtam.mp3 ...

and i'm not sure about that: if you make a (your) playlist before (eg with Winamp) and drag & drop this list instead the seperatly files in nero; maybe Nero will burn them in your wished order;
and additional a playlist is on the new data/mp3 CD now, most players can read a playlist and will play the songs in playlist arrangement and not in alphabetic order; some players can read *.m3u, some *.pls, most can read both; take a try;
