Any Luck Burning DVD Movie using burnatonce & Plextor 708A?

Hello everyone,

I've been trying for days now to get burnatonce to work using my Plextor PX-708A without success.

DVD decrypter and DVD Shrink have appeared to work flawlessly but burnatonce just continues to generate errors. I've posted my issues at the burnatonce site but I'm getting little to no help from that source.

Has anyone with this drive been able to get burnatonce to even work?

Let me know if you have so we can exchange notes.

Thanks,

If it's a movie you are backing up you can use DVD Decrypter in ISO write mode.
What errors is it giving you?
Yes it's a movie, but doing it in ISO mode will only work if your dealing with a movie that will fit on a 4.7 DVD-R. Right?

In my case I'm trying to burn a dual layer movie which I'm having to decode the files using decrypter, then shrink and pick the files for the movie using DVD shrink, and then try to burn the resulting files using burnatonce.

burnatonce isn't working however so I'd like to find someone who has actually gotten it to work, because I've tried everything I know to get it to work with no luck.

If you have used DVD Shrink it should show green bar indicating size if it will fit. After Shrink use ImgTools classic to create a disk image then burn with DVD Decrypter in ISO write mode.

Yep, I make sure that it's green in Shrink. I'm assumming that ImgTools classic is another app? I'll search for it and try the method you describe. This will allow me to bypass using burnatonce which I have to say, I'll be happy to get rid of.

Thanks a lot burntup!

This worked beautifully burntup!

After getting ImgTool and generating an ISO, then using DVD Decrypter to burn it, everything went as it should!

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!

:D

I am glad it worked for you. I learned how to make my backups by following the tutes on this forum and have had very few problems. I still go and read them just for a refresher every now and then.
