where would I browse newsgroups for apps or games?

apart from alt.binaries.warez.ibm.pc/0-day

are there any more out there?...

I'm a new to newsgroups...

It´s not a newsgroup but try this ... with MIRC

irc.fdf.net #warez

read the irc rulez to avoid problems there ...
