any alternative way to convert divx movies to svcd?

To Chickenman,

I've been following your Divx => SVCD guide for a while now, however I've now run into another new problem.

I'm trying to convert the last Divx file of Harry Potter 2 and LOTR 2 but DVD2SVCD just crashes and does nothing, I can rip the audio using VirtualDub, But how do i rip the video from file and what do i do next?

Detailed instructions would be very helpful!

When does DVD2SVCD crash? Is it during audio conversion, CCE encoding, Pulldown,etc. I dont have a crystal ball either. Is there any error message?

Try using TMPGEnc then instead of CCE. Have you varified the integrity of the AVI with DivFix?
