Another problem

If I use the cce plugin I get and error and it won't run at all. "frm_cap_video_buffer_sync" Anyone have any ideas on this one ??

Wouldnt be a bad idea to tell us what program your using CCE in as a pluggin (Premier, FlashMPEG, etc) and what your converting with it (DVD, AVI, etc) and to what format (SVCD, VCD, etc) What version of CCE is also. Help us with a bit of info so we can help you, we dont have a Crystal Ball.

Is this the first time you have the error or always there and you have not been able to run it at all ?

Awaiting further info.

More info

Sorry for the lack of info.
I try it in DVDx, backupdvd (which is the new dvdx which they charge for) and flaskmpeg. It used to work but not anymore. I saw someone else with the same problem over at the _http://doom9.org/ forum and posted with him too but no one has answered back yet. I have tried using it straight from DVD, and from the ripped .vob files directly off of my harddrive. Both VCD and SVCD have the same error.
I like CCE, the quality is great and it's the fastest.

Firstly please dont post live links, put an "_" in front or start them like h**p://...., one of our rules here.

Okay now I understand what your trying to do, DVD to SVCD with DVDx and CCE pluggin. If it has been working and now it does not, I suspect you have installed some other software that is interfearing with it. Or have upgradded something or both.

To be honest, DVDx is not the way to go for SVCD. A much better and simpler solution is the all in one program DVD2SVCD that uses CCE as full program and not as a plugin. Absolute supurb results and all explained in the Movies Tutorial section.

As for VCD, the quality from CCE is quite poor compared to TMPGEnc, just to much pixelation in fast action scenes. The latest DVD2SVCD can now make VCD's with TMPGEnc however they end up not fully VCD compliant, so go with the proven DVD2AVI / TMPGEnc method. Its one of the fastest and best quality, again read all in the Movie Tutorial section.
