another beginner

i've been told that i can copy vcd's/svcd's to a cdr/rw. is this true? and what software do i use to do this? i've tried neros but that seems a bit difficult. ive tried installing divX but a problem occurs somewhere along the line. im all confused by this and when ya find out somethings can happen you wanna do it and when ya can't it does ya head in, well mine anyway. so it would be greatful if anyone can give me a few tips.

As Roadworker said, check out the Tutorial section. VCDEasy version 1.1.5.2 (do a Google search to find it) is freeware, easy to use and burns great VCD's and SVCD if your MPEG files are compliant.
