what does this option on CloneCD do? And is it only used for the copying of Safedisc2 cd's or does it have another function?

The amplify weak sectors option in clone cd is for cdrw drives that have trouble burning the SafeDisc 2 copy protection. Simply changing your computers region in the control panel will let you use this feature. The way SD2 works is it's basically bad sectors on the disk. ( or thats what the disk wants your burner to think ) And naturally with most drives when they encounter a bad sector they try to repair it. Making the disc a coaster. So what this feature does is amplify the sectors to be read and written correctly. It still doesn't ensure a good burn. It really depends on the drive. Good Luck!
