There has been a little speculation of recent events here on the Forum. We the Forum leadership, wish to nip this in the bud so that all concerned will have a better understanding.
Over the weekend, several changes were made in the Forum leadership. Quite a few of the Mods were released (retired) from their positions with our thanks.
You see, this Forum just doesn't need as many staff as it once did. Since the change to No Warez, we have a great deal less traffic. Therefore, it has been very difficult to justify so many Mods. Because of this, it was decided to trim the staff to a level that reflects the current traffic of the Forum.
Another important thing to consider is that new blood is good for this place. In the past promotions were a highlight in the Forum threads. It was a kick in the pants to see peeps who were hard working and friendly get promoted to Forum leadership. Problem was, since we had too many staff already, how could we keep promoting peeps here?
New blood is a good thing for the Forum. This way deserving leadership can be promoted and deserving members can take their place. Seeing new blood in Mod and Admin positions, will help this Forum to grow and move forward.
Most importantly, these guys are still part of the team. They are the same bunch of friendly guys that you have all grown to love. They will continue to help all of us with answers to all those important questions.
One thing must be made abundantly clear..... they were NOT demoted! They were released from their positions, nothing more. These guys deserve out respect and not mindless speculations! So let this post be the end of all that.
Lastly, we wish to personally thank all of the retired Mods for a job well done. They have all worked hard at keeping this Forum alive during some difficult changes. The Forum will forever be in their debt!
