Alcohol 120% & Pioneer A05

I'm unable to burn MP3 cue files with Alcohol 120%, and have been unable to do this since I got my new burner. The strange thing is, it appears to be the software causing the issue, not the burner.

My burner (Pioneer A05) is able to burn bin files fine with cue files, but when I try to burn an mp3 that has been split with a cue (also used to burn the mp3 with the appropriate tracks in place), the software finds it "unsupported" and has "errors".
I know that these cues don't have errors, because they have been used before and the filenames match. Also, I've used heaps of different mp3/cues, and it's only mp3 files that the software is having problems with.
CDRWIN doesn't appear to be working either, and Nero doesn't take it (Nero never took it though so that doesn't mean much), so it's quite a confusing problem...

Use Burnatonce 0.98. ( www.burnatonce.com ).
Open an audio mastering window, and proceed like "add files", change the type to "tracklist files", insert your .cue and feel free to do anything you want.
Using the right decompressor it also works great for .ogg, .mpc, .flac, .mp2, .mp4 files as well.

@dudditz if SCARECROW tells you that a program does something and gives you a description of HOW TO then there is a good chance that hes telling you what the program REALLY does and does not do !?  !?

then im sure it will do what he says, do you not think !? :)

Yeah but it isn't working. It says "bin must be in the same directory".
The mp3 is in the same directory, there's no bin involved?

Open the .cue file (with Notepad or your plain text editor of preference), and remove the path from the file descriptions (eg something like "c:/Documents and Settings/Baldhead/My Music/jerk.mp3" should be changed to just "jerk.mp3"). That is if you have moved the cue/mp3's from theit initial location, or they have NOT been created by yourself. And by the way most of the times BAO 0.98 can correct errative cuesheets without any input. For .MP3 just don't load the .cue from main window, follow the above instructions. The message you receive suggests that you try to load the cuesheet DIRECTLY- BAO burning engine (CDRDAO) can accept just bin/cue and nothing else... but the BAO audio compiler takes care of that, and transforms the cue/MP3 to a usable TOC/wav format.
It works ALL THE TIME, period- please READ what you have been suggested to do before replying "it doesn't work- blah.. blah...". I have lost count how many cue/MP3 and cue/MPC images I have burned this way.
By the way if you had the unlucky inspiration to edit the .MP3 filenames with say a tagging utility you must rewrite/correct the cuesheet manually. Also, it's advisable that your .MP3 files contain ID3 v.1 tags (ID3 v.2 are not needed- rather the opposite).
