Alcohol 120% crashing when creating image

Hi...

I've just tried to make an image of Unreal Tournament 2003 with Alcohol 120%. All worked fine until it reached 99% (where DiscJuggler tells me about that one unreadable sector) - according to some people it's the "twin sector" which basically is the one sector causing backup problems.

Well, Alcohol 120% simply quits to desktop when reaching that sector. Before it reads with max speed, then turns the speed down drastically - and crashes without any further comment.

Does anyone know what to do?! I'm kinda confused...

soerfer

P.S.: Yes, I did a search for "alcohol problems" but didn't find anything (at least not related to my problem :p)

ignore read errors had been ticked automatically when selecting "SecuRom new" preset.

tried 8x speed - still the same, quits to desktop without comment. :(

btw:

Litey LTR-48125W
Windows XP SP1
Alcohol 120% v.1.3.3b1017

same prob here. alcohol simply crashes when trying to make an image of copy protected cds. with non protected cds it works, but is obviously useless

Yeah, I'll do that.

> having said that, its no secredt that if you haved a Lite-On burner then Discjuggler is the best program you can get for 1:1 copies- probably the only one working for Safedisk 2.7X- 2.8X, together with Diskdump/burnatonce.

How's that? I mean I'm using DiscJuggler but what about Discdump/burnatonce?
