Alcatel 701 v/s nokia 3410

Bro I love Nokia fon but I would say go for the Alcatel why?
Well while the Nokia the 3410 is a great fon these type of fons with Xpress-on™ covers tend to play up big time if your into changing the covers. But if you intend to keep the same cover on then go for Nokia... Common faults with fons with clip on or slide on covers... LCD screen unable to read display, buttons sticking,fon switching off this may not happen right away but sooner then later these common fault will kick in at some point.
In short buy or get a fon where you have not got interchangeable covers (main case)
