Adding track data to a audio cd burn?

Does anyone know if there's a way to add tracks within one big mp3 file? If so, what program?

I have a huge mp3 of Pink Floyd - The Wall....and as anyone who has this CD knows, each track has zero gaps, so all the tracks muddle together. Now, I could go about and chop it all up, then burn the audio cd with 0 gaps, but this would take quite a bit of time - which I rarely have as of late.

So I'm wondering if there's a tool to just leave this single mp3 file together without any chopping, but still beable to add a track data between certain songs on this one mp3 file. There for I can just beable to just skip though the burned CD with the same result as having it all chopped up, but with less work and time involved....and disk space.

Thanks to anyone who knows what I'm talking about! :D

LOL...you know what? your right!! :D

But, so far, I just seen some hat only split the file up, is there a way to not have them all split up?

markers

Yea, as pokopiko said you should be able to use markers to make the gaps, a good prog is Sound Forge, Its been posted before use search, and pretty simple to use, with good help files (if you get stuck on something).

Bty: Pink Floyd kicks ass

Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it. I'll get working on that burn then, thanks.

Couldn't agree with you more Crater....Pink Floyd kicks ass!! :D

There's quite a lengthy discussion about that problem at:

Click the "live-mix" button on the left.

Hope that help

Nero has its own audio editor, which has this option. I use it to burn CDs from one huge wav file. Even if two or more tracks are gapless I read it together and then split it again with Nero.
Yes, I know not everyone likes Nero, but I do (sometimes).

EAC can rip to MP3/CUE, can burn from MP3/CUE, but the "Process WAV" option, where you would normally mark out the CUE sheet for a WAV you are splitting, does not support MP3.

So if you can make a good CUE, you CAN add tracks to a live-mix MP3 - but EAC is the only program I know that accepts an MP3/CUE combo!
