Adding redhat 9

Ok,

I'm gonna partition my hard drive (40gb) and install Redhat 9 onto one partition.

When the installation etc is all complete I would like the following to happen...

Switch comp. on
Bootup seq.
Prompt for OS "Redhat 9 or Windows XP Pro" and an autoselect for XP after 8 seconds.

How could I go about editing the startup procedure like so?

1. Install XP
2. Repartition drive with Part Magic 7 or 8 if you don't already have a partition to install Linux on.
3. Delete (remove any DOS/WIN partitions if formatted in the 2nd part (recommend XP in part 1, then an extended part with a logical part of either ext2 or blank in the extended part. This helps Redhat or other Linux installers to find a good part to install to right off.
4. Install Linux. Choose whichever you want to be the default boot part in Lilo / Grub bootloader manager at the end of the Linux install.

5. OR: just install Linux in a VMWare session in XP.
