Can you add a background music on an existing video file without totally eliminating the original audio track and without using a hardware like an audio mixer? If yes, what program can I use and where can I get a full version for free and how to use it? I had an audio mixer before but not anymore. If I can use a software to do this, then I don't have to buy one. Thnx.

spiderman2002, can you be a bit more specific. What sort of Video is you have?
This is more for the Audio section but depending on the type of Video you have, you will need to de-multiplex the video to separate out the Audio stream. Then load this into some audio editing software that will allow the merging of 2 audio tracks (existing + background), save and re-mux back with video to new video file.

Thnx you guys. I did use VV3 and got it working. And thnx for this site, it is where I got my vv3. I'm still in the learning process (editing stuff using this prog).
