wats the big deal about ogm?i've only heard its something similar to divx,but not more..anyone can elaborate on this ?

OGM is a container format so you can't compare it to DivX if you must compare it, then compare it to AVI, MP4 or MKV.

For an encoder try VirtualDubMod or you could just use a muxer and use existing AVI's.
