As RITEK branded DVDr's seem to be the current favorite brand heres a little tip on how to spot a genuine from a fake at a glance


THIS IS HOW TO ...

Just Two EASY ways.

1) Color

Genuine Ritek (G03) should have a dark purple color. Other media may use light purple.

2) ID Code

The inner ring/band of the disc has the following serial number sequence:
XX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

The first part has 2 digits and the second part has sixteen digits.

and its that simple
