A quick question and how

I used DVDStripper once and it works fine.
Now I have a question.
Is it possible to rip the files onto the HD and then work from there?
I mean, say I already have the VOB files ripped on my HD.
How can I access it and use DVDSripper to work on it.
The last time I used DVDStripper, I did not have the VOB files on my HD yet. I ripped them onto my HD using DvdDecryptor from Within DVDSTripper.

Kind of confusing?
Let me try to reword this.
Using DVDStripper, I can use dvd Decryptor to read the VOB files form the dvd to the HD.
But I did not. I ripped the vob files using DVD Decryptor itself (not from within DVD Stripper).
Now, How do I skip the first step in dvdstripper since I already have the fob files on my hd?

I am not sure, but I don't think you can. I think if it is an ISO file on your HDD you can, or you can mount the files you can.

So, you have already ripped the dvd with DVDDec and you want to use these files with DS. First of all, I guess you used in DVDDec File mode > all files. If you used IFO mode, bad luck, you can't do anything. Now, you should create an iso image from these vob/ifo/bup files you got from DVDDec. You can use ImgTool Classic (not ImgTool Burn) [check @ www.coujo.de]. This tool is, in fact, meant to create an iso image (as far as I remember with mkisofs) from the vob/ifo/bup files you get after the dvd ripping / transcoding phase and it then uses DVDDec to burn the iso image to a DVDR. So, what you can do is to un-select in the settings the automatic burning of the image with DVDDec, therefore at the end you'll only get the image.

Then, use Daemon Tools, create a virtual drive and mount the iso image to this drive. Now your system thinks that you have inserted a dvd in this virtual drive. Open DS, select this virtual drive and rip from there. That's all. Now, DS will use DVDDec to re-rip the "dvd", but this time splitting the files per cell ID.
