A little help with read errors

Does anybody know why it seems as though almost all of the DVDs that I burned at 8X give read errors when somebody else tries to do a DVD copy with them? Those same discs, when burned at 4X instead of 8X give no problems. I use a Lite-on burner 8X max and Matrix, Ridata, Memorex or TDK DVD-r or +r discs. The burners that are giving problems with copying are Plextor, Sony, Pioneer and KHypermedia. Thanks for any help!

Try a program like DVD Identifier so we can make sure what the media is and post what it says. You could be have a problem with lower grade media even though they are good name media. Just a guess but its a good place to start. Also what programs are you using to burn your DVDs with?
