A little help please

I have found that with help thank you that the software isn't the problem with my friends computer.

On investigating it dials all right but nothing happens after that.
I believe it to be the modem.Which is conected to COM 3 where my own is connected to COM 2 and works fine.

I wish to change the Com conections from Com 3 to Com 2 I have done it before but I forget now on how to do it

can someone tell me how to do it again

sorry about that I always endevor to write it down and keep a book of what I did but its always tommorow and it never comes.

Best is to uninstall modem and reinstall manually and choose your port.Is it internal if it is then it will use a virtual port which will probably be com3.Do a hyperterminal test also to make sure the modem is okay.Also check that you do not have other hardware eg mouse and on what port that is if serial.Till laterz:)
