A avi to vcd problem

i download all these tv episodes and i wanna convert them to vcd i burned a test episode on a cdrw and played it the sound came out like a loud beeping or screeching sound and when i browse for video source in tmpgenc audio does not automaticaly fill up i tried using dvd to avi to get the sound but when i press f5 to let it run through it i get a error what do i have to do????

i think something is wrong with your audio codecs installed on the system or audio on the videos is bad so try checking these problems. And use Virtauldub to rip the audio from the video

I agree with Mrsash. Sometimes there is problem with bad VBR encoding of audio and TMPG throw's a wobble. Just rip it out with Virtual Dub and point TMPGEnc to the wav file you've just ripped.
