8x Firmware

i download a 8x firmware PIONEER 107 ( burn any DVD at 8x(i think) anyway it burns ritek 4x DVD-Rs at 8x no probs, do you think this is ok to do this, this discs i have burned all work fine but i dont know if its a good thing to do!?? also now that i put this firmware in would it effect the write quality of the 107( meaning the burn quality will be the same as the non flashed 107, is the only differance that when i flash it it will burn the 4x at 8x or does it effect the way it burns???

Ive also upgraded my 107 fw to the 8x for all.Im not 100% sure on it yet so I only burn my Ritek dvdr discs at 6x maximum and its working fine so far.

How do i take out the firmware am i able to do that because now i cant get the official firmware update it wont work
