3ivx to DVD?

Could someone point me in the right direction within this site.
Im trying to find a program that would work to convert 3ivx to DVD.
Ive searched the site but havent found anything.
Most the programs I have are for .avi to DVD.
Maybe even something to convert 3ivx to avi, then I could go from the usual avi to DVD.
Anyway, thanks. A link would be helpfull to this newbie man in a newbie land.

3ivx is a codec. Avi is the container. If you have a 3ivx codec installed on your computer, then the file should open in WMP, and any other program you use to work with avi's.
Do a google search for 3ivx codec and install a good one. You can also find the 3ivx codec in most codec packs (Nimo, K-Lite, Krystal, etc.), but I don't recommend you install one of those, unless you know exactly what codec's you want on your system. They have a tendency to install a whole bunch of un-needed ones, and they can mess up your legitimate one's already installed.

http://www.3ivx.com/download/windows.html - the "official" 3ivx suite has some trial limitations - in the audio encode/decode side.

surprised they restrict the audio DECODE as well?, so get all your 3ivx-ing done quick, and then discard.

Thanks for your replies.
I now know that the movies I have are in .mov extension.
From here I will convert to DVD using TMPGne and enjoy the show on my home DVD player.
