If you buy a comp with a dvd burner installed do you still have to change the aspi? For burning, from what ive gathered, i need dvd decrpter, and dvdshrink. This will capture, decrypt, shrink, and burn it right, or do i need nero also. Do these programs burn cds also? Ive been used to easy cd creator, are these programs that easy? Ive been reading for a few days now and am starting to grasp this burning somewhat. It is more complicated than i thought. Thanks.

Will these programs copy a cd using it in dual drives like easy cd creator. All you had to do is install the 2 disk and hit copy.

yes u need 2 install an aspi layer
nero should do the job 4 burning & copying,avoid ez cd cremator coz it generally screw the OS
for cd copying though nero can do it ,i recommend using something else like clone cd or alcohol120

Is that freeware? Dvd decryyptor or shrink will not burn the cd then? Thanks for the help. I hope my comp will be here in a few days. Im trying to get a good understanding so i can get to burning when it comes in.
One more thing, those programs will not interfer with the dvd burning software correct. I think i will be using the one i have listed above.
