2 questions about window explorer shell

hi,

In window explorer, when I switch folders, there’s a clicking sound; is there a way to disable that sound?

Sometimes when window explorer crashes, I can’t see the tasks in thebottom, and I’d have to ctrl alt delete in order to reboot; what causes the crash and is there a faster way to restore it without having to reboot?

When you use ctrl+alt+del the task manager window appears instead of rebooting just end explorer task and wait, sometimes it takes a while to the system to end the task.
