£12.95 dsl in the uk :)

just saw this, not running yet, pre reg interest.

dsl 512/256 = £12.95/month 1month contract

or for thos with dial up how about this

insomniacs special :)

0800 or 0808 dial up 1am-8am no disconnects or timeouts only £3.95/month, the real killer on this on is the contention ratio (modems/users), i have NEVER seen one like this, its 1:1 it just doesnt get any better.

well...... except for this one .......

for netheads :D

0800 or 0808 free dialup 24/7 connection (standard uk 2 hour cut off :() reconnect immediatly without penalties contention ratio 12:1 for only £12.95 a month.

they also do a 512/256 dsl package for £34.95 with a 20:1 ratio (bt is 50:1)

they also have a 24/7 56k service with a 4 hour cutoff instead of 2 hour (with a suggested 400 hour a month useage) for £21.95

Have a peek at Pipex.com....im onit and it seems ok...altho been down a few times,,,,hope it aint to do wiv me been on all day....lol

just under 25 notes a month after yer initial 85 for gear

yeah we do JORIPE mate and RAPID TIME STANDARD with a contention of 1 gig per 24 hrs for £30 a month still same speed and modem contention of 50:1 but it still kicks butt and 1 gig a day is ample for most users :) what i dont get today i get tomorrow simple as that no worries :)
what is not pointed out here is .... is this a SELF FIT KIT !? many people here have had loads of trouble with self fit kits and self bought modems !? i had mine fitted and bought my modem from my isp that way i get on my door service for both and modem is warrenty for 12 months exchange on doorstep :) a lot of people here have found out to there expense that if they self fit and buy there own modems its a pain in the but if something goes wrong then its your own fault and they will fix it but @ A PRICE :( and some have even had to bow down and pay both an engineer and the price of a new modem to get up and running and end up with a DUD shop bought DSL modem :( so be warned you pay for what you get :) also here a note to add they often do not show unless in tiny tiny scrawl at the bottom there is usually a service activation fee of in the region of £50 > £70 in some cases :(
so its swings and roundabouts really !? :( and :) in some cases !?

just read an article on this its now £12.99 but limited to 1000 users and you do have to pay £88 for the modem and £80 connection fee and a 12 month contract !! so be warned there is no such thing as a free lunch ! :(
