i can't get dvd2 avi to run on xp pro at all , i've tried numerous downloads of it and different versions but always get the same message dvd2avi.exe encountered problem send error report. any idea!!!!

I have just installed nero 5.5.8.2 on windows xp home editon machine and it has started writing coasters. i had nero 5.5.5.6 on it befroe and i worked ok. i have tried uninstalling 5.5.8.2 and puting 5.5.5.6 back on now that writes coasters too. i also have triednturning off xp 's burning...
