Hi, Can anyone please explain to me how to convert the avi files i have download into a format that can be playable on my standalone dvd player. do i just use tmpgenc and select dvd instead of vcd and, then just burn this in nero, (But choosing what template in nero) thanx in advance for your help

Hi, are there any tutorials out there to explain how to trasnfer AVI to DVD, as i have just brought a dvd writer and haven't yet sorted this porblem out, i have been doing the VCD's and have had no problems with these. Do i just use TMPGENc, and Nero like before? if so what options do i pick...

i may be a thick T**t, but i have installed the divx bundle, and now wanting to convert AVI files to MPEG with codec, but after installation i have got the Divx player and Divx codec configuration, how do i load the decoder, please help
