I just recently got myself a DVD-burner. Until now I have used Nero. I would like to know if there is any general consensus on good burning apps/stuff to avoid etc. for DVDs? In the good old CDR days I got the feeling that such a consensus existed (Nero, CloneCD, Feurio, BlindWrite...).

This is strange. From time to time only one session out of several on a multi-session burned CD will show up in explorer. Using CD-R Diagnostic I am able to see all sessions, and retrieve files etc. The weird part is that it appears to be random what session I can see. Sometimes it's the first...

Can Nero make Video CD's out of divx files, or do I need to convert into mpg first? If the latter is the the case, what kind of prog. can do this? Everytime I try with divx avi files I get an error message "unknown format" or something similar.

Tried out Dapyx MP3 Explorer - the damn thing crapped out after reading a file that was'nt complete. What should I use instead?
