    Speed of CD-RW

    If i have a CD-RW 4x and my recorder accept to write up to 10x CD-rw, can i force my recorder to write in 8x or 10x in a 4x CD ?? How I must proceed to deceive the recorder or its software so that he has accepted to record in a faster speed?:confused:
