i got the drive, and flashed the firmware, but i have noticed no improvement in ripping speed. Supposedly the new firmware lets you do it at 12x?? anyone know if there is something i need to do? TIA!

what i did was remaster the tracks using dvdshrink directly off the disc, then burned using BAO. I have the sony DRU-510, and the disc became a coaster, sadly(these things are not cheap). Here is the log from BAO.
