Just installed a Lite-On in a computer, 48X. No sweat drivers etc in WinMe. The NERO OEM CD says ONLY for that CD-RW. I am not uisng it but it is SPECIFIC w/drivers I guess.

My Athlon XP 2000 and MCI is perfect. No connection problems. Loaded WinMe as if reading from CD. If it said 30 mins it took 3 mins. No jumper etc problems. I do not plan on using the sofware for overclocking. Only got as far as Windows and hardware software loaded. Have to check all the MB...

CentDyne 30X $20 w/rebates and I just paid $14 for a floppy drive. Mine blew. Must be DVD RW are coming out en-mass. 40X 48X on sale as dumping. I like to watch sale sequences. Why DVD burners if they are anti piracy? Buisness is business.
