I am changing a vob file to a aiv file with the Dr.divx program. The programs lets me make one file and how many megs I want it to be. This way I can put a movie on one CD instead of two. You read what I wrote earlier any help would be great. Dave

I used the divx program to make the avi file and had it make it into 1 file with a max of 700megs. according to the properties it is only 697 megs but when I open nero to burn it it says that it is 114 minutes. How can nero read it to be more than what the properties say. Dave

How can I compress a 1200 meg mpeg1 to fit on a 700 meg cdr? most movies that you convert are at least 1200 megs and I would like to put them on one cdr instead of 2.

What is the difference between a cdr and dvdr? I thought that a dvd was just a recordable medium. How can I make my cd burner (Teac) see the dvdr as a cdr? Any help would be really great. Thanks Dave
