I converted a dvd to xvid in resolulution: 720x576 but when I'm playing the xvid file some parts of the movie have a bad picturequality and there is a lot of small "squares" all over the picture. what do you think is wrong, is it the software or is it my computer?

I have 3 Xvid files that I wanna join together, they have the same resolution and all three 128kb audio. then when I've joined them in easy video joiner the audio is total out of sync.... how do I solve this problem? please help

My computer often crashes while trying to convert a DVD to a diffrent format (like svcd, divx xvid etc.) I've tried defragmentation and to close every program and internetconection while ripping but it still crashes. does someone have an idea of what causes this problem?

I've tried diffrent programs that is able to convert a DVD directly to svcd. But a movie that is 1h 48min long always takes 3 cdr and I want it on two. Isn't there any program that can convert the dvds directly to svcd without using so man cdr's?

A thing that I think is strange is that when I checked the size on a DVD it said 0,99 Gb but when I converted the DVD to svcd the size was much bigger... why is that?
