i have a liteon ldw 451s dvd burner but since ive updated to the latest firmware i keep getting an error come up "cyclic redundancy check error". this seems to be only on my backed up stuff. also it seems to be taking an age to read backed up discs..... a. can i reurn to its original firmware...

hi a friend of mine is currently having problems installing xp pro on a system he has made. when he boots from the cd to start installation everything is fine, he does a full format of the drive and begins installation.It gets as far as initalising then throws up an error "FATAL ERROR" an error...
