Thanks for the great tutorials!

A quick question from a newbie.....

I've recently had my PS2 console chipped and had a mate backup some of my games...he did so using -R media (Both for CD and DVD games)...and they all work perfectly.

Last week I got my new HP DVD+R/RW 300n writer (and I've successfully backed up DVD movies using the tutorials from this site) and I was wondering if backups made using + media will work in the console as well.
