DVD Decrypter v3.1.6.0 is a Freeware software program available from www.dvddecrypter.com

Place an image of the DVD onto your hard disk

Open up the DVD Decrypter program.

101 Before you insert your PS2 original DVD, from the menu select Mode>ISO>Read.

102 Select your Source drive.

Insert your PS2 original DVD.

103 DVD Decrypter should recognize the DVD and compile some information about it.

104 Select your destination area on your hard disk where you want to store the ISO image.

105 Then click on the DVD > Hard Disk button at the bottom of the screen.

106 DVD Decrypter then extracts the files from the DVD and builds an ISO image onto your hard disk. This will take a short while depending on the size of the DVD and the read speed of your DVD reader.

107 Once DVD Decrypter has finished building the ISO image onto your hard disk, it will alert you “Operation Successfully Completed!”. It will also play a little music sample.

Burn the image from hard disk back to DVD-R/DVD+R

201 From the menu select Mode>ISO>Write.

202 Select your destination drive (your writer) and insert your blank DVD disc.

203 DVD Decrypter should recognize the blank DVD and compile some information about it.

204 Tick the “BURN-Proof” check-box (if applicable). OPTIONAL – Tick the “Test Mode” check-box if you wish to perform a test write prior to the actual write.

205 From the Settings area select “DVD” as the write mode.

206 From the Settings area select your write speed.

207 Then click on the Hard Disk > DVD button at the bottom of the screen.

208 DVD Decrypter will then start to write the ISO image to your DVD disc.

209 Once DVD Decrypter has finished writing the ISO image onto your blank DVD disc, it will alert you “Operation Successfully Completed!”. It will also play a little music sample.

Congratulations, you have just successfully created a backup of your PS2 original.
