Why do you have to disable the auto insert notification?

I have had a play with this record now but...

having a go at backing up medal of honor and the program has made a split image with (11) after the first file name and (12) after the second. There is also a further file which contains only 2k of code which was created at the same time. Do you have to burn all 3?

Is it anything to do with the read being used from the evaluation copy?

(have bought the software and now re-installed it!)

      Cheers

Disabling auto insert notification is the politically correct thing to do to avoid coasters... but anyway it's not strictly necessary, having autorun shield on is enough.
Anyway, if you also have a packet writing application installed (DLA, DirectCD, Instant Write etc.) then auto insert notification MUST be turned on to avoid blue screens and bad burns.
Finally you are obviously storing to a FAT32 volume... in that case RNM splits the image automatically to 2GB chunks. You just have to load the small .gi file (the one without the bracketed numbers) and then push the burn button.
Finally the evaluation version differs from the retail one by just one file (pconfig.dcf). No need to elaborate any more on that subject...

I've given it a try to backup Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. Made the global image ok but when it burnt and verified I got this error message.
      Error 10 at Sector 43088 - Command:28 sense:03 ASC: 02 ASCQ:00
      Anyone know what this means?

RecordNow Max dos not reconise my Pioneer 106D Drive

I am setting up to do some bacups of PS2 games. I have a Samsung
CD-R/RW burner and just instaled a now pioneer 106D DVD burner. When I open RecodNow Max it only shows the samsung as a choice. If I use the Record Now Max Wizerd It will use the Pioneer and make a copy to the hard drive. when asked to put in a blangk DVD the drive won't reconice that a Blangk DVD is in. I am using Ridata -R media. What should I
do so that the Pioneer is usable with RecodNow Max.
The Pioneer will reed a DVD CD and play audio.

Quite simply slot in the latest PXengine update from Sonic (version 507). Sonic sit now asks for registration, but searching for "pxengine" at filemirrors should return several good (and 100% legal) links.

Thank you for the reply. But I don't know what you mean by "slot in the latest PXengine update from Sonic". What is Sonics site. And what do you
mean by at filemirrors should return several good links.
I don't mean to be so stupid on the setup but Im trying. I seem to need step
by step, info to get all of this setup.

http://support.sonic.com/Downloads/engine.asp for the Sonic site and the PX Engine d/l page. For some reason the site now requires registration/login

File Mirrors site is at www.filemirrors.com

Some links to PX Engine 507 downloads: -

You need to run the application to update the PX Engine software

I am having problems with my Burner being recognised as well. I have an LG GSA-4082B, Firmware A201, Driver Version 5.1.2535.0.

I have loaded PX Engine 507 and also 336/342/258, but still no joy.

What alternatives do I have or do I buy a compatible burner. If so what is a good burner that is compatible with most DVD Software?

      Please Help.

507 is not the latest pxengine update... Latest one is 1.08.34 which still works with RNM 4.X series
      http://patches.sonic.com/PX/pxengine1_08_34a.exe
However the new additions are almost exclusively Lite-On and Sony burners... it seems Sonic does not care about the rest.
A solution is adding by hand some mumbojumbo in the px.ini file which will make the program utilize some "unknown" features of your burner, but this clearly isn't an ideal solution...
Either wait Sonic to sell RecordNow somewhere (might happen pretty soon since they acquired Cremator from Roxio), or try out Prassi Ones which seems being a worderful compact proggy, and supports any MMC-3 compatible burner.
