You probably have a non-standard framerate. What is the framerate of the movie? You can check with a tool like MediaInfo.

I converted a couple of VOB files to MOV in order to upload them to the FilmMachine. Then I get the following message: You have to choose Mediafiles with standard framerates like 23, 23.976, 24, 25 or 29.97 fps. Please choose another .....file.
What did I do wrong?

Thanks for answering,
To answer your question, the framerate is 59.940.
The original files were VOB files which were converted to MOV files.
What should I do to solve this?
what was the framerate of the VOB files? 59.940 is not a good framerate for VOB files.

The framerate of the original 4 VOB files is 23.976
So why are they converted to MOV files with a framerate of 59.940 and not to 23.976 or 29.97 fps?

I don't have a clue.
Perhaps this: I converted them into 16:9?
For the rest goes; I can't influence anything but the targeted format (MPEG4, Xvid,FLV, Song PSP, MP3, Divx, WMV, MOV and 3GP)
Just converted the VOB file into MOV.
The FilmMachine reports:
Cannot create file: "C:\Program Files\The FilmMachine\VTS_01_1.log". Access is denied.
I'm not able to alter this (or anything).

The last error means that you didn't disable the User Account Control (UAC) on your pc or you don't have administrator rights.
