I always seem to get the audio out of sector range errors all the time.I've currently got the K-Lite codec pack installed but the last version of TFM was okay with it.Can anyone help?
I don't know if its CCE SP2 or TFM thats causing problems!

    2. #2
Just encoded the above sample using CCE SP2 without using TFM and everything is in sync.
There is some kind of error being generated with this version.
Can you please look into it?

    3. #3
Just encoded the above with CCE SP v2.66 and the TFM 1.5 and there are audio sector out of range errors again, and the sample is out of sync.

There is DEFINATELY something wrong with this version of TFM.

    4. #4
Just encoded the above with CCE SP 2.66 and TFM v1.5.0.16 Beta and no errors at all.
      Can someone investigate this please?

    5. #5
I have the eaxact same problem.
I wonder if its is related to the other problem there is, The encoding results (wrongly) in a NTSC MPEG file, where as the input is a PAL file.
I am also uding CCE SP2.

      regards
      jeps

    6. #6
      I've noticed that myself.

Even though you set the option to PAL it encodes as though its an NTSC.

      Weird!

    7. #7
Can you post the *_Avi_Info.log file and the TFM_Project.tfm file

      Not now no!

Got fed up with it and uninstalled......gone back to v1.5.0.15 Beta.

Just finished encoding a film and its all okay.

    9. #9
But this way I can't see what the problem is.

Can you mail me a little sample of the movie (max 4 mb zipped) to thefilmmachine@home.nl then.

And please say which settings you used.

Will do but I tried it with 4 different movies and they all did the same thing.

I know TFM has a problem with VBR audio and I used virtualdub and changed it to cbr but it doesn't sort the problem.

Thanks for taking the time to look into it though.

    11. #11
      Okay, I have it.
It just took me some time to get back to my PC.

I have skiped a lot of "WARN: audio sector...".
I didn't want to overload the forum

Just before this conversion, I did the same with 1.15.18.Beta no problems.
Well allmost no problems. In the later releases of The Filmmachine, I have some problems with CCE not terminating after end conversersion.
That may result in problems with the next cnversion, because sometimes CCE-Front also doesn't close.

      regards

Can you also post the TFM_Project.tfm file so that I can see what settings you used.

The best would be that you send me a little sample of the movie (max 4 mb zipped) to thefilmmachine@home.nl

You were absolutely right. You found a little bug that appears only for certain files.

I just released version 1.5.1 that fixes this bug. You can download this version from my website.

You don't have to uninstall TFM first. The installation package will do that for you.
