On my Pentium HT machine, all CCE from 2.50 to 2.70 have this problem (<70% of CPU load). Playing with priorities does not help much. Your AMD processor is apparently better supported by CCE. TMPGenc, e.g., does support HT, and uses 100% CPU on my machine, but even with HT support it is much slower than CCE.

my speed is 1.50x (37fp/s +/-) whith CCE 2.67, but whith 2.70 i have only 0.50x(13fp/s +/-).

Thank you for the prompt reply! Here's settings for CCE SP 2.70:

the way to do it depends on the version of CCE; in 2.70 you should uncheck "Top fields first" in Advanced settings and "Progressive frame" in Picture Quality; also set Block Scan Order to Alternate.

The AVS file needs to contain only two lines:

AviSource("...", false)
ConvertToYUY2()

If the source is interlaced, should I set Top Field First or Bottom Field First. And what about progressive sources ---> Top Field or Bottom Field ????

By the way can someone tell me when to set the progressive flag and when not ?????

What is exactly the difference between progressive and interlaced and how can you see what is what ?????

None, I use CCE 2.67.0.23 and for testing purposes CCE 2.70.02.01
