When you use selectable subtitles you also have to choose the "A" and select your character-set. I don't know which is for polish, you have to find out yourself.

Hello,
Thnx for wonderful program. It works great, however I have a problem: I know that to obtain polish letters I have to click "A" and choose "Central Europe". But it is possible only in permanent subtitles, when I choose selectable one there's no such possibility.
And second thing: after decoding subtitles are out of sync. Before it was OK. Any suggestion?
Thnx in advance and Marry Christmas

Thnx, I'll find it.![]()
I don't find it . . . .
polish "Character set" it is: ISO-8859-2 but for MS Windows is windows-1250
The_Mask, could you add this Character set for polish users ?
ISO-8859-2 don't have something letters for example "ą" "ś" "ź"
Can you have other idea ?
If you click on the Character Set list you will find the wanted character set. So click on "A" and then choose character set ISO-8859-2 in the listbox.

Please test this file, and It compare contents of file with inscriptions in movie.
In my file is: ą ć ę ł ń ó ś ż ź
In my movie is: s ć ę ł ń ó _ ż _
(sorry, my english not very well)
-korzystaj zawsze z najnowszego TFM

i admit, it will be easier and more problem precise, when you comunicate in your native language; but please understand, our postings should be helpful too for other users with similar problems (e.g. greek subtitles wanted); some of them may not understand polish
;
so please follow our forum rules and add an english translation:
rule #10: This is an English language site apart from our German/Dutch forum. And any post you make must be in English while your on the English forum. But you may use another language if accompany with it's translation.

-during converting the subtitles from .txt to .srt you should be carefull not to lose polish letters, I recommend Subtitle Tool.
-choose MIDDLE EUROPE (Europa Srodkowa) to obtain polish letters, if the problems remains it may be CCE fault, I recommend ver. 2.67
-always use the latest version of TFM
- Use Subtitle Tool (in .srt file polish letters are OK.)
- If I use Permanent subtitles than I choose MIDDLE EUROPE and everything is OK. But when I choose Selectable subtitles option the only possibility is to choose ISO etc..
- I use the latest version of TFM.
