      hi

i'm also having problems with subs:

      Code:
      ...

      - 14-12-2004 0:16:14
      - Free on drive E: 69,47 GB
      - Creating and Merging Subtitles
      --------------------------------------------------------
      Writing E:\TFM_Subtitle_File.srt
      Saving Subtitle File

      ...

      Multiplexing finished.

Spumux is inserting subtitles in the videostream.....
      Processed 1234 subtitles.
The longest display line had 46 characters.
The maximum number of displayed lines was 4.
The normal display height of the font arial.ttf was 32.
The bottom display height of the font arial.ttf was 45.
The biggest subtitle box had 4442 bytes.
Inserting subtitle into DVD stream finished.

DVDAuthor is writing the VOB files.....
      Locale=C
      Converting filenames to US-ASCII
      dvdauthor creating VTS
      Video pts = 0.184 .. 3977.184
      Audio[0] pts = 0.184 .. 3977.176
      Audio[32] pts = 0.184 .. 5606.250
Generating VTS with the following video attributes:
      MPEG version: mpeg2
      TV standard: pal
      Aspect ratio: 16:9
      Resolution: 720x576
Audio ch 0 format: ac3/2ch, 48khz drc, 'nl'
      dvdauthor creating table of contents
      Scanning E:\DVD/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_0.IFO
      Writing VOB files finished.

      Finished authoring DVD
so it looks fine, but when i watch the movie using windvd i can't see (or turn on) subtitles. i realy prefer the selectable subs

      [edit]

i'm sorry, my mistake: i opened the vob file, not the ifo
