      Question one cd question

      first of all this is an amazing easy to use program go get it !!!!

      now the question:
      i am trying to burn a movie into 1 cd i see that the orginal movie avg bitrate is 895 so i choose svcd or vcd and choose 1 cd as it completes my dvd doesn't show it only the menu and then the end why?

      and by the way does the filmmachine create dvd with sorrund ???

      please if you can do a simple guide on how to do it on 1 cd.

      You are talking about 1 cd but at the end you are talking about your dvd. What did you do and please post the *.log files.

      sorry i don't have the log files but what i ment is that i am trying to make a movie on one cdr 800mb.
      now when i said dvd i ment the dvd player not the media.
      and the question is how can i decied when i can make a single cdr movie insted of 2 and how to do it ?

      for a full length movie of 1 hr + it will simply NOT fit one cdr not without MAJOR SERIOUS COMPRESSION which would render the quality UN WATCHABLE

      2 disk is the norm for MPEG 2 quality which is usually pretty good picture and sound

      the other alternative is to get an XVID/DIVX compatible player and convert to AVI and get a whole movie on just one disk

      but as DVDRW burners are pretty darn cheap along with the media THEN WHY struggle to cram stuff on a cdr at all !?
