      media compatability

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------hi all !

ive just been told but want to confirm it....that if my dvd burner is

+ rewritable then i must use + media to write to...is this true?

if so would this explain the breakup in picture quality of films ive burnt?

cos up to now ive been using - media discs.

Your description of the burner is not terribly enlightening... any chance it's that BTC drive?

If it is then it can use both +R and -R media.
That said, the writing quality of the drive is reported at various forums being dismal- but anyway you can try upgrading its firmware and see if it burns any better.
